Definition

Being proactive means taking action and making changes now to prevent problems from occurring rather than reacting to them afterwards.

Example Sentences

e.g. Micron takes a proactive approach in the prevention of workplace accidents and injuries.


e.g. We need our engineers to be more proactive instead of reacting to excursions after they occur.


e.g. Micron continues to take proactive measures to protect its team members from COVID-19.
